Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Anticipation continues to build, as the Buffalo Bills await their opponent next weekend in the AFC Wild Card Round as the 2-seed in the AFC Playoffs.

Chris Brown, Bills play-by-play voice on WGR, says there are three different scenarios that could play out over the weekend.

"The most likely opponent is Denver [Broncos]. They are in a win-and-in scenario, and they're going to be playing against largely the [Kansas City] Chiefs backups in Denver this weekend. So if they win, they're in. They're the 7-seed and the Bills would draw them," explained Brown during his appearance on WBEN on Friday. "If they draw the Broncos, not as sexy a matchup as, say, perhaps Miami [Dolphins], who would need Denver to lose. They would need to beat the [New York] Jets this week, and they have to do without Tua [Tagovailoa], who's got a hip injury. So if they get in, that could be a more attractive matchup that you might see in a 4 o'clock window or in prime-time."

The third, and least-favorite scenario is the Bills face off against the Cincinnati Bengals, which could have an impact on the game's start time.

"If it's Joe Burrow versus Josh Allen, I think that's going to prime-time," Brown said. "Whether it's Saturday night or Sunday night or, heck, maybe even Monday night."

Co-founder of "Bills Mafia" and 26 Shirts, Del Reid is hoping the game isn't against the Bengals.

"I know their defense hasn't been great, and that pairs really well with the Bills offense. But man, that offense they have with Tee Higgins and Ja'Marr Chase, and obviously Joe Burrow is bad news," said Reid in an interview with WBEN. "At the end of the day, if you're going to be the best team, if you're going to win the Super Bowl, you got to beat everybody who winds up against you. So whoever they end up playing a couple weeks, I just want to see them put their best foot forward and get on to the next round."

The Bills take on the New England Patriots for their last game of the regular season on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST.
