Orchard Park, N.Y. (WBEN) - Bullseye Event Group has yet to showcase its premier VIP tailgating experience near Highmark Stadium, but officials from the Indianapolis-based hospitality company know the gauntlet has already been laid down, courtesy of the "Bills Mafia".
In one of its latest partnerships connected to the soon-to-open, $2.2 billion Highmark Stadium, the Bills have retained Bullseye Event Group to run VIP tailgating experiences for all of its regular season and playoff home games.
But to Bullseye, officials are keenly aware of the challenge of living up to the legendary pre-game tailgating that has been fostered and grown by fans - led by "Bills Mafia".
"We know about the 'Bills Mafia' tradition," said Andrea Ridder, Bullseye vice president of team and client relations. "We consider this a wonderful marriage, not only with the team but with the 'Bills Mafia' and all of its fans."
For Bullseye, this will be the company's sixth NFL franchise where it runs and created a VIP tailgating experience. The Bills are joining the Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints, Denver Broncos and L.A. Rams.
Bullseye also has a working partnership with such colleges as Notre Dame and Ohio State.
"Our goal is to deliver an experience that would make the 'Bills Mafia' proud," Ridder said.
Bullseye VIP tailgating experience is open to all Bills' fans.
Their tailgate site is in the Toyota Gate E, just off of Abbott Road and in front of "old" Highmark Stadium and across from the new Highmark Stadium.
A typical VIP tailgating experience is all inclusive for food and beverages included taco bars and other themed food offerings along with top shelf bar beverages.
The experience includes live entertainment and large screen TVs to watch other NFL games.
The tailgate opens 3.5 hours before kickoff, meaning for the Sept. 17 night game against the Detroit Lions, it will open at 4:45 p.,m.
Bullseye offers different packages including ones with tickets in the stadium's 400 level. Parking is not included.
Adults are charged $135 each per game while children between 9 years old and 17 years old are charged $70 per game and children 8 years of age, or younger, are free.
Tickets can be purchased through the Bullseye website or via Ticketmaster.
"It will be a great experience, but it is still a tailgate and we don't want to lose that flavor," Ridder said.
