Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - The great fall weather continues this week in Western New York, but how long should we expect it to last?
The consistent nice days have set this fall apart from others with little to no reason to change any outdoor plans, a big change from our wet end to the summer.
"It might not be the warmest of the falls, we've had some very, very warm months of October," said meteorologist Andy Parker. "This one, I think, Is very steady. We've had very few large storms come through so it's been rather quiet in the storm department."
So when does the other shoe drop?
Halloween may have a trick up its sleeve.
"The next real chance of seeing some inclement weather would be toward the end of the month," Parker said. "Somewhere between the 29th and the 1st is when I really think we're going to see the temperatures take a tumble for a multi-day period."
