Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A Buffalo woman was arrested on Friday in Rochester, and has since been charged with the shooting death of a woman on Liddell Street last week.
Back on June 12, Buffalo police responded to a shooting call on the 100 block of Liddell Street. That's where officers found a non-responsive victim suffering from a gun shot wound.
43-year-old Shawneequa Pearson was transported to Erie County Medical Center, where she later died.
Police say the suspect, 39-year-old Shana Rowe, was located in Rochester, where she was apprehended by Buffalo Police Homicide detectives with assistance of the Rochester Police SWAT team.
Rowe has been charged with second degree murder, which is a Class "A" felony, and remains held in custody without bail. She faces a maximum sentence of 25 years-to-life in prison if convicted.
