One day after officials issued a warning saying sharks are digesting large amounts of cocaine in the ocean, marijuana got in on the action.
Toke, toke, pass. And then call a hauler.
This wasn't a Baggie or a few joints. Officials said so much pot washed up on the shore in Neptune Beach Florida over the weekend that police had to tell people to stay away from the beach and bring in tractors to haul it away.
How did so much pot wash ashore? Police said it looked like a large container of the stuff had broken open at sea. If it sounds like something that could have pot heads salivating and showing up for a green treasure hunt, police advised people otherwise. The marijuana had been in the water for so long it was rotten.
"High tide should be fun," one man joked on Facebook. Another said it should be re-named 'weed beach.'
