Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - Paul McCartney's stop in November will be just his second time ever performing in Buffalo, and first time in 10 years.
Add that to the former Beatles songwriter's legendary status... it's expected to be a hot ticket. But how much is too much to pay?
"You tell me," Said Jill on Money host Jill Schlesinger. "Do you want to spend more money right now on Paul McCartney, who's 83... I'd rather go to a Bills game."
The comparison on price is likely not far off.
Ticket pricing details have not yet been released, and prices could vary wildly. Reports from McCartney tour stops in the US over the past three years show non-VIP tickets have cost anywhere from $100-$700.
For some, it's worth every penny.
"One of the things people are surprised about when they come into our office is I tell them 'You should spend some of your money,'" said Mike Lomas with the Financial Guys. "You can't take it with you. Obviously there's a balance, but I've seen a lot of people pass away with lots of money but no fun."
"As long as you feel like you have the ability to control this," Schlesinger said. "As long as you have a number, then I think it's cool. But you've got to have that number coming in."
The ticket pre-sale begins Tuesday morning at 10:00. General on-sale is Friday July 18 at 10:00am.
