Rep. Ilhan Omar to draft impeachment articles against President Trump

While protesters and angry mobs continue in Washington D.C., Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has said she will draft articles of impeachment.

A woman was shot and police were injured as hundreds of Trump supporters stormed in and breached the Capitol building, possibly for the first time since the British invaded. Some Trump supporters sat in the chairs of Democratic leaders and took photos of themselves. Others took photos of classified documents.

Pipe bombs were reported left at Republican National Headquarters and Mitt Romney screamed at colleagues that they had wrought this threat to democracy with blind support of Trump. "This is what you've gotten," Romney reportedly yelled as members of Congress cowered in fear for their lives.

For his part, Trump stayed out of sight, but released a video claiming again -- and fraudulently -- that he had won the election, while Biden spoke and said it was time for calm, law and order.
