Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - "You can not beat what we're going to get the next two days," National Weather Service meteorologist Bob Hamilton tells WBEN as he sizes-up the holiday week ahead. "Wall-to-wall sunshine, temperatures in the 70's today, near 80 tomorrow, near no humidity."
"This is perfect," Hamilton emphasizes as he beams about the early week forecast.

Heat and humidity will then make a return on Wednesday out ahead of an approaching cold front, which will bring our next round of showers and thunderstorms as it crosses our area late Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday evening.
"Those with fireworks may have to contend with fairly widespread showers and storms Wednesday evening," Hamilton cautions.
For Independence Day Thursday, the front will be stalled and heat and humidity will be in play. "But it should be dry most of the day, not a guarantee, because it will be a warm and humid air mass we're going to be in, pretty much from Wednesday through next weekend," Hamilton says.
