High pressure will provide `spectacular` weather and light northerly wind across the region, National Weather Service forecasters say. It will be warmer again with highs in the upper 'to low 70's, cooler near the lakes. Memorial Day Monday will feature mainly sunny conditions with highs in the upper 60's.
The clearing and warmer conditions won't last long, however, with more unsettled weather expected to move into the region midweek.
Unsettled weather returns Wednesday with a chance of showers through the end of the week. Temperatures will start out near to above normal for Tuesday, but cool to below normal on Wednesday
