Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - This too shall pass.
No shovels or plows needed, but there is a lot of grumbling across Western New York as Mother Nature delivered a record snowfall for Buffalo overnight.
Numerous snow showers will continue into the morning commute, say forecasters at the National Weather Service. Snow accumulations of up to two inches are possible across higher terrain by the time the snow begins to taper off by mid to late morning. A coating to a half inch of accumulation is possible at lower elevations.
The good news is the brush with a return to a winter landscape will be short-lived, with slowly improving conditions as the week progresses and more seasonable temperatures for the weekend.
