Vince Coakley joined Bo Thompson Thursday on WBT's Morning News, following the third night of 2020 DNC action.
Coakley recently announced that he had contracted Covid-19, and also recovered from it.
Thompson noted the nature of the workspace at WBT, and the remote capabilities that modern technology offers to radio professionals. This was significant to highlight, because Coakley has been working almost completely remotely throughout the pandemic.
"The only symptom that I experienced possibly... was fatigue, that was it. There were a couple days that I was just very, very wiped out..." despite being exposed to a friend that became very ill, Coakley replied.
Thompson would go on to pivot to the 2020 DNC, and gauge Coakley's reaction to the virtual event.
Coakley said Kamala Harris's speech "did not inspire" and went on to describe Wednesday night's production as "very awkard at the end." Coakley rounded out his thoughts with his curiousity of the upcoming RNC.
