Kamala Harris will visit Charlotte and Asheville this week, according to her campaign officials. The Democratic Vice Presidential nominee planned to visit North Carolina last week, but canceled last minute after two people connected to the campaign tested positive for COVID-19.

However, Harris did attended a virtual event last Thursday with Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles and others to celebrate the first day of in-person early voting.

She'll be in Asheville on Wednesday (10/21) at 11:30 a.m. for a get out the vote event before heading to Charlotte at 2:40 p.m. to participate in a campaign hub grand opening. Harris will stay in Charlotte for a voter mobilization event “to encourage North Carolinians to make their plan to vote early” at 6:35 p.m.

Her visit comes a day before the final presidential debate in at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.
