Not long after the AP and other networks called the presidential election for former Vice President Joe Biden, President Trump released a statement saying the election was still "far from over."
President Trump is promising unspecified legal challenges seeking to overturn the outcome of the race for the White House. Trump said in a statement that ``our campaign will start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated.'' Trump was at his Virginia golf course when the race was called on Saturday.
Joe Biden reached the 270 electoral votes necessary to win the presidency when networks called Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes for the former VP on Saturday.
