The Carolina Panthers (3-2) won a third straight game on Sunday. A 23-16 victory over NFC South foe Atlanta Falcons (0-5) that forced the firing of General Manager Thomas Dimitroff and Head Coach Dan Quinn after the game.

What will be key is the schedule coming up for the Panthers. A home game back at Bank of America Stadium against the Chicago Bears next week (10/18), followed by back-to-back NFC South opponents. The first coming on the road against the New Orleans Saints (10/25) before coming back home to face the Falcons again for a Thursday night affair on Oct. 29. But perhaps the biggest litmus test for the Panthers will come on Nov. 8-- a uphill battle against the defending world champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The Panthers are doing this without Christian McCaffrey in the backfield. The star running back is recovering from a high ankle sprain suffered in week two.
