
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — At least 13 people, including two firefighters, were injured after a fire broke out at a Brooklyn building Tuesday night, FDNY officials said.
The flames happened around 8:45 p.m. at a residential building located at 881 5th Ave. in Sunset Park.
Over 105 firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene and the fire was placed under control around 9:30 p.m.
About 14 people, including two children, were displaced due to the fire, the Red Cross said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
