The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. on I-95 near the New Rochelle toll barrier as heavy snow and high winds hit the region.

The wreck closed all southbound lanes of the highway between exits 16 and 17.

New York State Police said the left lane reopened to traffic around 11:30 a.m.

There were no injuries reported.

Another tractor trailer jackknifed on the New England Thruway in Larchmont about 20 minutes later, according to NBC New York.

Officials are urging the public to stay off the roads due to whiteout conditions from the winter storm.

"It's still very dangerous out there, these are dangerous weather conditions and that's why we're reminting people to avoid travel at all costs," Gov. Kathy Hochul said during a Saturday morning storm briefing in New York City.
