Adams’ inauguration ceremony is set to take place at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre, his office said, with the event set for Jan. 1.

The choice is a move away from the typical City Hall setting for the event, but shows Adams’ allegiance to his home borough.

The ceremony will also inaugurate incoming comptroller Brad Lander and reelected public advocate Jumaane Williams, according to the report — who are also from Brooklyn.

Adams was born the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, represented the same area in state Senate and became Brooklyn borough president in 2013.

“It is symbolically impactful for me to be inaugurated as New York City’s 110th mayor from the heart of Flatbush, on behalf of this working-class communities and communities like it across the five boroughs who have elected one of their own to lead our recovery,” Adams said in a statement.

Who would give the oath of office wasn’t immediately known.

All inauguration attendees will have to be vaccinated to come to the iconic venue.

The ceremony will happen in the evening in order to respect the Sabbath.
