Bryan Henry, 44, was arrested following the explosion at Larry's Lighthouse Marina in Aquebogue on the night of Sept. 12, Riverhead police said.

No one was injured in the explosion, which damaged the siding of a building at the marina, according to police.

An investigation by the Riverhead PD's detective squad and the Suffolk County PD's arson squad led to the arrest of Henry, police said.

A search of Henry’s Manorville home, which involved bomb technicians, “recovered additional incendiary and bomb making material,” according to police.

Police said an investigation “revealed the explosion was not a terroristic act” and that the marina “was most likely not the intended target.” They said an investigation is ongoing.

Henry faces charges of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree arson and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
