NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Hillary Clinton will give a speech to the New York State Democratic Party next week, flexing her political muscles ahead of the November midterm elections.

The former first lady, secretary of state, New York senator and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee will appear in front of party leaders at the Sheraton hotel in Times Square next Thursday.
During the Democratic Party's convention at Hofstra University on Long Island four years ago, Clinton spoke out in support of then-Gov. Andrew Cuomo, endorsing his nomination.
A source told CNBC that Clinton is "as beloved by the mainstream members of the Democratic Party and her popularity is likely higher than that of President Biden."
"It’s good for her because it keeps her relevant and her appearance is likely meant to galvanize the party and the audience," the source added.
Those who believe Clinton will run for president again in 2024 will likely be encouraged by the stop.
