
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A knife-wielding man taunted kids and families waiting in line in a terrifying incident at the Central Park Carousel on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The man got angry at two kids in the line at the carousel near E. 65th Street. When their father confronted him, he pulled the knife, according to police.
“He started swinging the knife back and forth, threatening everybody,” a witness told the Daily News.
The man made threatening remarks to multiple witnesses at the scene, police said.
The suspect, of Queens, was taken into custody around 1 p.m. and charged with injurious manner to a child less than 17.
No injuries were reported.
A knife was recovered, police said.
