NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was critically injured after he was repeatedly stabbed by another man on the stairway of a Brooklyn subway station Thursday evening, authorities said.
It happened just after 8 p.m. as a 19-year-old man was walking up the street stairway at the Van Siclen Avenue subway station line in East New York.
According to officials, the suspect approached the victim and stabbed him with a knife multiple times, said.
The suspect then fled on foot to parts unknown.
The victim was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
