NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man believed to be in his 50s plunged to his death from a luxury Central Park South apartment building early Tuesday.
Police told the New York Post the victim leaped from the 12th floor of the balcony of 200 Central Park South, near Seventh Avenue, around 1:40 a.m.
The unidentified man's "injuries [were] indicative of a fall from an elevated position," police added.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to its StreetEasy profile, the 35-story, 309-unit building is "a premier white-glove cooperative building on the most desired Central Park South block – impressively facing all of Central Park to the north with Columbus Circle one block to the west."
