Police said the men had gotten into argument outside the 7-Eleven on W. 3rd Street, near Sixth Avenue, around 4:15 a.m. on Saturday.

The victim pursued his attacker into the nearby W. 4th Street–Washington Square station, where the two men “engaged in mutual combat,” police said.

During the brawl, one of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed the other man in the abdomen before fleeing, according to police.
