WESTBURY, N.Y. (WCBS 880) — One little bundle of joy just couldn't wait to make his big debut in the world.

Nassau County Police were called to a home on College Lane in Westbury at 8:17 a.m. Friday for a woman in labor.

Tamara Gaffney, 30, of New Cassel, told first responders that her contractions were one minute apart.

Two police officers along with two emergency medical technicians immediately jumped into action, giving Gaffney birthing instructions.

Just 16 minutes later, Gaffney gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Noah.

Both mother and baby were taken to Nassau University Medical Center for evaluation and both are in good health.
