NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police are looking to identify two suspects in two armed robberies where over $37,000 in property was stolen in the Bronx, authorities said.

The first incident happened on Monday, May 30, at approximately 3:15 p.m. in front of 1055 Rosedale Ave. in Soundview.

According to officials, a 62-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle was approached by the two suspects who demanded property.

One of the suspects displayed a firearm while both individuals proceeded to take the victim's jewelry valued at approximately $22,500 before fleeing into the rear of a NYCHA development at the location, the NYPD said.

The second incident happened on Sunday, June 5, at approximately 3:45 p.m. in front of 1003 Soundview Ave. in Soundview.

Officials said a 42-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by the two suspects who demanded property.

One of the suspects displayed a firearm while both men proceeded to steal the victim's cellphone, jewelry and other miscellaneous items before fleeing the location to parts unknown, cops said.

The items removed are valued at an approximate total of $14,900.

No injuries have been reported as a result of either incident.
