Police say teen with autism who was reported missing in the Bronx has been found

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — A teen with autism who went missing in the Bronx on Thursday afternoon has been found.

Brianvel Casanova, who is non-verbal, was reported missing after he was last seen running eastbound on Claremont Parkway and Webster Avenue around 3:15 p.m.

Authorities issued a missing child alert saying the 17-year-old may be in imminent danger.

The alert was canceled around 10:30 a.m. Friday after Casanova was found.

CBS2 reports the teen is being evaluated by EMS.
