Police search for suspect in shooting of boys, 13 and 16, at Harlem restaurant

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – Police released surveillance video Monday of a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting at a Harlem restaurant that left two teen boys hospitalized last week.

The boys were sitting inside Mama’s Fried Chicken on Frederick Douglass Boulevard, near 116th Street, last Wednesday night when they were shot around 8:40 p.m.

Police said the suspect walked up to the two teens and fired multiple shots, striking the 13-year-old in the head and the 16-year-old in the back.

The 13-year-old was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Hospital in critical but stable condition, while the 16-year-old was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.
