NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A Stormtrooper statue that was stolen from a Long Island video game store earlier this month has been returned after a woman was arrested.
The Star Wars statue was swiped outside Blast From The Past in Bay Shore on April 1.
The store said Saturday that the 3-foot statue, valued between $300 and $400, had been returned by police.
“A huge thank you to Suffolk County Police Department and our entire community across Long Island for the tips that helped bring our little man with bad aim back home!” the store posted to Facebook along with photos of the reunion.
Police told WABC that the statue was found at a Wyandanch home after they received a tip about its location.
Carissa Savillo, 34, was arrested and charged with petit larceny, according to the report.
