NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A truck driver struck and killed a pedestrian in a Brooklyn crosswalk on Monday morning, police said.

The pedestrian, who hasn't yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene at East 19th Street and Avenue P in Midwood, according to cops.

The driver struck the victim around 9:15 a.m. and remained at the scene. Police said the victim was in the crosswalk at the time.

No charges had been filed by Monday afternoon as the investigation continued.
