NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police launched an investigation after a man was found dead on the roof of a Bronx apartment building early Friday morning, authorities said.
At approximately 1:20 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man on the roof of a building located at Daly Ave. near E. Tremont Ave. in West Farms, officials said.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified man unconscious and unresponsive, on the roof landing of the residential building, with no obvious signs of trauma observed.
EMS pronounced the male dead at the scene.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
The investigation remains ongoing.
