NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police have released footage of a person of interest in the fatal shooting of a Brooklyn mother last month.
On Aug. 19, police responded to a call of a person shot at 1523 St. John’s Place in Crown Heights.
Two people were found with gunshot wounds — 54-year-old Limose Dort was shot in the chest and was brought to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A 30-year-old man was shot in the arm and went to a hospital in stable condition.
Dort, a mother of four, was not the intended target, her son told ABC7. Dort’s son says his mom fled Haiti to the United States four years before her death.
Footage released by the NYPD on Friday shows a person who police are seeking for questioning in connection to the shooting.
Anyone with information is asked to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS or the Spanish line at 1-888-57-PISTA.
