
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (WCBS 880) — Westchester County Executive George Latimer has tested positive for COVID-19, his office said Monday.
Latimer, who is vaccinated, decided to get tested after learning that he had been exposed to the virus at a community event.

His office did not disclose where the event took place or when.
"The County Executive is home in isolation, and is continuing to carry out the work of the government from his residence," a spokesperson said in a statement to WCBS 880. "He is grateful his symptoms are mild thanks to his COVID-19 vaccinations."
