Woman suffers broken nose after man attacks her on Queens subway platform: police

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A woman was hospitalized with a broken nose after she was repeatedly punched in an unprovoked attack on a Queens subway platform this week, police said Thursday.

The NYPD released surveillance video of a man they’re searching for in Tuesday evening’s assault at the Queens Plaza station in Long Island City.

The 47-year-old victim was waiting for an E train around 5:55 p.m. when she was approached by her attacker, police said.

The man came up and punched her multiple times in the face before fleeing on foot, according to police.

The woman suffered a broken nose and multiple contusions to her face, police said.

She was transported by EMS to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens, where she was listed in stable condition.
