SYOSSET, N.Y. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Nassau County Police are investigating after a murder-suicide on Long Island claimed the lives of four victims and a gunman on Sunday, officials said.

The killings took place in the afternoon at a home located at 76 Wyoming Ct. in Syosset.

Four victims were shot and killed inside the home, police said. The gunman then walked outside to the front lawn and shot and killed himself.

Police are still determining the exact circumstances that led to the killings and the relationship between the victims, though sources indicate it may have involved the reading of a will.
