NEW YORK (WCBS 880/1010 WINS) -- Like its hometown, the New York Mets and its ball park are ever-evolving -- and they know a thing or two about good food and a good time.
So it comes as no surprise that a week ahead of the Mets' March 28 season opener at Citi Field, at its "What's New in 24" event for media at Citi Field Thursday, it unveiled additions to its menu, a new Delta SKY360° Club, a new and improved team store, and debut of the dancing Queen Crew -- as well as buzz-worthy ball park LED lighting.
Among the highlights at the event were Citi Field's newest celebrity chef partners Anne Burrell, Adam Richman and Judy Joo. Anne Burrell's Italian Eats is Section 102, Adam Richman's Burger Hall of Fame is Section 103 and Joo's Seoul Bird is at the Hudson Whiskey NY Club on the Promenade Level.

Some of the new concession vendors include lower Manhattan's drool-inducing Prince St. Pizza, Nixtamal NYC taqueria, Tea and Milk bubble tea drink shop, Gyro Jimmy's and others.

Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors will expand its location this season, as well. Popular fan favotires Shake Shack and Fuku from David Chang and Pig Beach BBQ will also return.

The Mets Team Store has also been expanded by about 50 percent: it's now 10,000-square-feet. There's an expanded selection of products, as well as a self-checkout system to allow fans to get back to their seats quicker than before.
Also on the entertainment front, be prepared to be razzle-dazzled with new LED lights in the ball park, which will shine brightly and span the color spectrum, when warranted (think home run and "Let's Go Mets!" chants).

Also new this season is the DeltaSky 360° Club at Citi Field, a premium space with a full-service bar, gourmet snacks, a sushi bar, and more upscale food and drink options.

The Amazin' Mets Foundation will also kick off its inaugural 50/50 Raffle Program at Citi Field this season. At each home game, one fan with the winning ticket number will win half of the net raffle proceeds for the game. The other half will benefit the Amazin' Mets Foundation's community programs and local nonprofits.
"Each home game will be a unique opportunity for fans to take home prizes and have a direct impact on our community," said Mets owner and Amazin' Mets Foundation president Alex Cohen.

The Mets are also welcoming several new partners this seaon, including Queensborough Community College, Sho Chiku Bai Takara Sake USA Inc., Mezcalum, Best Trails & Travel, Formaggio, Chopra & Nocerino Personal Injury Attorneys, Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop, bakertilly and Guardian.
