CUTCHOGUE, L.I. (WCBS 880) — An elderly Cutchogue, Long Island man died after he fell into a swimming pool while shoveling snow on Saturday morning, officials said.

When police officers responded to the accident, they pulled the unconscious victim out from the swimming pool and attempted CPR.
The Cutchogue Fire Department transported the man to Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
