Ken Griffey Jr. possessed perhaps the sweetest swing of any player in baseball history, was a 10-time Gold Glove centerfielder and is one of highest-voted Baseball Hall of Famers ever.
But we're not sure even he could pull off the stunt that his son Tevin -- who Ken and his wife, Melissa, adopted -- shared on social media the other day, gaining traction and several impressed reactions throughout the sports world.
It's not like Tevin Griffey's only claim to fame is that Ken is his father. He's an established athlete in his own right, finishing a superb high school football career and committing to become a Florida A&M Rattler.
Your turn, dad!
Not that his dad has to do much more to impress. His storied MLB career ranks among the greatest of all time, specifically in his power hitting numbers, where he's ranked seventh all-time. Perhaps most impressively, he did this throughout the steroid era of baseball, leading the league in home runs four times despite some heavily juiced competition.
The older Griffey was trending on Twitter recently, as well, after MLB Cut4 let Twitter users respond to the open-ended prompt: "The sweetest swing in MLB history belongs to...". Fans didn't waste much time getting to the correct response.
