CBS-FM's morning show Foxx & Annie in the Morning has partnered with Little Essentials to help collect 25,000 diapers starting Monday, October 16th through Thursday, November 2nd.
Foxx and Annie both have little kids and Annie is expecting her third! They truly know the struggle of parenthood and buying diapers every week. Diapers are the number 1 need for all families with babies and it is the biggest expense for families that struggle to make ends meet. Little Essentials is doing some amazing things to help support these families and their services reach all 5 boroughs. Foxx and Annie along with Little Essentials are asking for your donations and support to help lend a hand to those in need. Your donation helps a family right here in our neighborhood.
Foxx, Annie, and Heather had a chance to tour the Little Essentials warehouse, meet the operators and volunteers, and see firsthand the families who come out to community events to pick up diapers and essential items to take care of their families. The need is real, and we appreciate any and all support!
We wanted to share the stage with Little Essentials and have them announce the final count ... Listen to the emotional moment here!
Foxx & Annie were first introduced to Kalliope when she posted about the 30 Second Song Challenge. Then after starting the diaper drive, she sent over boxes and boxes of diapers and we just had to have her come in and see how much she and the rest of our amazing listeners affected the Diaper Drive.
Foxx & Annie were joined by Little Essentials in-studio on the finale 11/2. Fabrice Trombert, Co-Founder of Little Essentials; Stacey Burt, Advisory Board Member and Kyoko Namba, the Operations and Volunteer Associate at Little Essentials.
