"What a way to make a living." Dolly Parton is getting set to reunite with her 9 to 5 co-stars Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda.

Announcing the news today in a chat with iTV's Lorainne Kelly and Bee Gees singer Barry Gibb, Dolly dropped the bombshell that she will finally join Tomlin and Fonda for a reunion of sorts, making a special guest appearance on their hit Netflix show Grace and Frankie.

"I've been trying to do 'Grace and Frankie' for years," Parton, said. "We worked so well together on '9 to 5,' it’s a crazy wonderful show,” Parton continued. "We’ve been trying to write me in somehow. So, when it's safe for us to actually do a production when they’re back, I'll probably get around to doing that."

"We're always hoping that will happen," Tomlin told the Today show back in January. "We have a great role for her this time, I think she will do it. I’m just hoping she will." With health and safety restrictions due to COVID-19, Tomlin also hinted at her role being filmed remotely to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Delayed production of the new season is expected to resume in June 2021.

With 2020 serving as the 40th anniversary of Parton's beloved 1980 comedy about life in the workplace, the flick was given the Super Bowl commercial treatment during this year's broadcast -- cementing Dolly as an early favorite of the big game pastime.

“Working 5 to 9, you’ve got passion and a vision / Cuz it’s hustlin’ time, whole new way to make a livin’ / Gonna change your life, do something that gives it meaning / With a website that is worthy of your dreaming,” Dolly sings in the ad for web developers Squarespace.
