Three people were hospitalized Wednesday following a shooting in Maplewood.
According to the Maplewood Police Department, the male victims, ages 12, 15, and 21 were shot around 5 p.m. at the Maplewood Gardens apartments on McKnight Road and Pond Avenue. Two of the victims were taken to Regions Hospital by EMS from the scene.
A third victim was located at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury. That victim was transported to Regions due to his injuries.
Police detained two people after being located nearby. However, after further investigation police arrested Brendon Garza, 23, of Maplewood on a charge of 1st degree assault. He's being held at the Ramsey County Law Enforcement Center.
Police say they don't believe other suspects remain at large. They say it wasn't a random incident.
