According to ESPN's NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Minnesota Timberwolves have added a new assistant general manager, completing a front-office makeover under the teams's new president of basketball operations, Gersson Rosas.
Joe Branch comes to the Wolves after working as the managing director of basketball for ROC Nation Sports. ROC Nation is music artist Jay Z's firm that represents both athletes and entertainers.

September 10, 2019 Branch will join Rosas along with new head coach Ryan Saunders, and new executive vice-president of basketball operations Sachin Gupta, who was hired in May. Gupta spent the 2018-19 season with the Detroit Pistons as their assistant general manager.
The Wolves are coming off a disappointing season, which saw the regime of Tom Thibodeau come to an end, the trade of star player Jimmy Butler, and another year outside of the NBA Playoffs. Rosas and Saunders have been hard at work remaking the culture around the team, and bringing in some new front-office faces to help with that.
The season begins October 23rd in Brooklyn. The Timberwolves can be heard right here on News Talk 830 WCCO Radio.
