Metro Transit announced Wednesday that they will be resuming service to their green and blue lines in the metro area. The routes will restart at 5 am on Saturday morning and run every 15 minutes through 11:30 pm.
The company also announced newly added trips starting on Saturday to these routes: 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 14, 17, 18, 21, 22, 54, 63, 68, 74, 612, and 724.
Metro Transit has instituted physically distance policies to its riders which include facemasks and entering buses at the back door:
• Face coverings are required while riding buses/trains. Exemptions include children under age 2, and those who have trouble breathing or are unable to remove the face covering without assistance are exempt. Get details on face coverings.
• Board and exit buses using the back door. The front doors and ramps are available for those who need it for any reason.
• Keep distance between you and others, especially the driver.
• When boarding, if the bus does not have space to allow adequate social distancing, the driver will display "Next Bus Please" on the overhead sign, notifying customers that they need to wait for the next trip.
