Residents living along rivers and streams in Minnesota are preparing for the imminent rising waters. Some flood-prone areas are already seeing the water over their banks.
"Very, very early for us and of course it makes working with sandbags and working with the levee system itself a little more difficult because we're still dealing with snow, we're still dealing with ice," he said.
Residents from an evacuated mobile home park in Jordan were allowed to return to their homes yesterday. Stillwater has not yet experienced flooding along the St. Croix, but are still taking precautions.
