A Bloomington woman says it's her right to free speech to able to film kids playing in a near-by park.
Sally Ness has videotaped comings and goings at the Dar al-Farooq mosque and a nearby charter school -- students of that school use a nearby public park at recess.
Ness argues the level of traffic and activity by the students has restricted access to the park for others.
Members of the mosque, parents and school officials were concerned that Ness was filming the kids, and the city of Bloomington passed an ordinance that prevents such videotaping without consent.
Ness is challenging that ordinance, saying it violates her first-amendment rights.
A federal court hearing is set for early January.
