St. Paul Police say they will release body-camera footage of a fatal officer-involved shooting on Tuesday afternoon.

The video that will show the confrontation between police and Ronald Davis is scheduled for release at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Police headquarters.

According to a spokesman for the SPPD, chief Todd Axtell was told last week by Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Superintendent Drew Evans that the investigation into the death of Ronald Davis will be far enough along that releasing the video will not compromise the probe's integrity.

On Sunday, protesters gathered at the scene of the shooting at Thomas and Griggs in St. Paul, calling for an end to police violence and to show support for the man who died.

Mattson is a rookie on the St. Paul Police Department.
