For the second time within a week, a child suffers a gunshot wound in Minneapolis.
This time, police say it appears to be a case of road rage on the north side.
A 11-year-old boy was hit by gunfire about 7:15 p.m. Monday and suffered non-life-threatening wounds.
The boy was in a car with his mother and other family members when he was hurt.
The woman told police that they were on the 4900 block of Humboldt Ave. North when she noticed a car that was tailgating them.
She said the car pulled along side her vehicle and someone opened fire.
The woman took her son to a local hospital for treatment.
There are no arrests, but police say they have a description of the can and the person who fired the weapon.
Last Tuesday, a seven-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to the foot when he and his father were leaving a market at North Penn and Lowry Avenues.
