1 dead in Otter Tail County tornado

One person was killed and two others were injured when a tornado blasted through Otter Tail County in western Minnesota on Wednesday night.

The National Weather Service says twister, likely an EF-3 with winds of 136-165 mph, struck near Dalton at around 5:30 p.m.

The tornado hit three farmsteads, flattening one house in its path.

Another tornado was reported in Crow Wing County on Wednesday night. No injuries have been reported from that storm as officials continue to assess the damage.
