Minnesota health officials are reporting another death from influenza, bringing the total this season in the state to seven.
All the reported deaths have been adults.
The weekly report, which was released on Thursday, also says 78 people were hospitalized with the flu last week.
That is the highest total in any week so far this season.
The Minnesota Health Department says a total of 351 people have been hospitalized with the flu this season.
School outbreaks of flu also jumped last week.
