Former Governor Mark Dayton suffers fall

Former Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton says he is recovering after he suffered a fall earlier this month.

In a Facebook post, Dayton says he slipped and fell in his kitchen on August 4th, hitting his head.

Dayton says he underwent surgery at Abbott Northwestern to relieve pressure from internal bleeding.  He says he was then transferred to Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Center two weeks later, where Dayton has been undergoing physical therapy.

Dayton says he was able to go home yesterday to continue recovery.
