Parade Stadium in Minneapolis is set to host Hockey Day Minnesota beginning Thursday night as a Winter Storm Watch blankets the state.

2020 marks the 14th year of the event which has seen plenty of weather conditions. Minnesota Wild spokesperson Wayne Peterson believes they're ready to roll with whatever Mother Nature throws at them.

"We're keeping an eye on the weather and we'll continue to monitor the forecast," Peterson said. "We'll do everything we can to ensure everybody has a safe and great experience."

A big warming tent will be set-up to let fans get out of the cold. 

Puck drop for Hockey Day Minnesota is Thursday night with two girls contests. The first is between Holy Angels vs. Minneapolis at 6 p.m. followed by Grand Rapids-Greenway vs. Blake at 8 p.m.
